Teriyaki Meatballs

Ingredients :

  • 500g of ground pork/ground chicken 
  • ½ minced onion 
  • 2 minced ginger 
  • Chopped parsley
  • Five-spice powder
  • Pepper
  • Neptune Bouillon granules
  • 1 egg 
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 80ml of vinegar 
  • 55g of brown sugar
  • 80ml of filtered water
  • 60m of soy sauce 
  • 60ml of cooking oil 
  • 15g of wheat flour 
  • 2 tablespoons of minced ginger 
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of roasted sesame

Instructions :

Step 1:

  • Add all of the first ingredients for the meatballs into a large bowl, mix the ingredients together.

Step 2:

  • Make equal-sized meatballs. Spread the cooking oil on a tray and place the meatballs on the tray, cook them in the oven at 1750C for 15 minutes.

Step 3:

  • Add the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce in a small pot, heat them over medium heat, stir until the sugar is melted and continue cooking until the sauce is reduced.

Step 4:

  • Use a special brush to spread the sauce on the grilled meatballs, cook them in the oven for another 5 minutes. Serve dishes on a plate with steamed rice.
